Message from our President...The Sunflower has been chosen to represent my term of office. With 38 sunflower species native to North America, it is a perfect symbol of our club and the variety and versatility of our members. Each of our members has a special talent, and a unique personality. With all of our differences we share on common goal; to serve our community. |
CFWC President, Kathi McGraw has chosen "Wrapped In Love" as her
President's
Project for
2010-2012. She ah asked members to donate knit,
crochet, quilted or no-
sew fleece blankets to
adults and children in
need. This also asking clubs to donate with their own
Communities.
Mount Diablo District President, Arlen Boen has chosen for her theme
"Bee the Best that you can Bee.." with the Bee as her logo. Her project
for e 2010 to 2012 is the "Sentinels of Freedom." This organization
refurbishes homes for disabled vets and helps them find jobs and/or
return to school.
As I embark on this two year journey. I ask for your support. I plan to
have a few fun activities mixed
in with our business meetings. I would
like to see our meetings end no later than 1:45 pm. I will need
to the
cooperation of all of our members to reach this goal. Whenever possible
please use the Newsletter
when you have to report.
I am looking forward to serving as your President for the next two
years.
