GFWC Dublin/San Ramon Women's Club

Its a Volunteer Thing!

The GFWC Dublin/San Ramon Women's Club is an established charitable organization serving the Tri-Valley area since 1965. Nearly 100 members participate in service to our communities. We have provided scholarships, specialized equipment for the fire departments, funds for hospice, food and essentials for people in need. We give time and money; blankets for children and gift boxes to our troops serving active duty and many veterans here at home.
We are a part of the largest women's organization in the world, the General Federation of Women's Clubs, International (1890)

The Sunflower has been chosen to represent my term of office. With 38 sunflower species native to North America, it is a perfect symbol of our club and the variety and versatility of our members. Each of our members has a special talent, and a unique personality. With all of our differences we share on common goal; to serve our community. MORE

Grants

We offer grants to non-profit organizations serving the Tri-Valley area. Grant requests should focus on:

support for families,
stages of life
community service in the Tri-Valley.

Applications for 2012 must be received by April 13th. Grant Application Form

Scholarships
The GFWC Dublin/San Ramon Women's Club offers scholarships to the graduating seniors of the following High Schools.

Dublin High
California High
Dougherty Valley High School
Valley High School
Venture High School graduating seniors.

We offer a female at Dublin High pursuing a career in accounting or business a separate scholarship. The deadline for application submissions is April 20, 2012. For more information email dsrwcmail@gmail.com or contact your guidance counselor .

Student Art & Photography Contest
GFWC Dublin/San Ramon Women's Club Art Contest K-12 students who go to school or live in Dublin/San Ramon may enter. Information and details available at each school.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place winners. 1st place winners go on to District/State Contests.
